Privacy Policy
This page explains what this review site does with information about visitors. It covers the pages you read here, not the casino we write about. Casinova runs its own site under its own rules, and anything you type there is handled by the operator, not by us.
Who is behind this site
This is an independent editorial project that reviews online casinos for readers in Australia. We are not part of Casinova, we do not hold player accounts and we never see your login, your balance or your play history on any casino site.
If we say something about how a casino treats its players, it comes from the public pages of that casino, from published terms and from our own notes while browsing the site. We do not receive private data from operators about individual players.
What we collect
We collect only what a basic content site needs: the pages you open, the time you spend on them, the device type, the browser language and an approximate region taken from your network address. This data is stored in aggregated form and is used to see which sections readers find useful.
We do not ask you to register, we do not run a comment system and we do not ask for payment details. If you write to us by email, we keep the message and our reply so we can follow up and correct mistakes.
Cookies and measurement
The site uses a small number of cookies. Some are needed to remember a banner choice or the display mode you picked. Others belong to an analytics tool that counts visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time, and the pages will still load.
We do not use cookies to build a profile of you across other sites, and we do not sell visitor lists to anyone.
Links that leave this site
Buttons on these pages lead to the operator's own website. When you click, the destination site may set its own cookies and record that you arrived from here. This lets the operator and us confirm that a visit came from a review page.
Once you land on the casino, its privacy notice applies. Read it before you register, especially the sections about identity checks, marketing messages and how long your records are kept.
How long we keep data
Analytics records are kept in aggregated form for up to 26 months and then removed. Email correspondence is kept for as long as it takes to deal with your question, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case the same issue comes back.
Server logs that contain network addresses are rotated on a short cycle and are used only to spot abuse or technical faults.
Your choices and contact
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. We will answer within a reasonable time and will tell you if we cannot comply and why. Requests go through the contact details published on this site.
If we change this policy in a way that matters, the new version replaces this one and the date at the top of the page is updated. Continuing to read the site after that means you accept the revised text.
